PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS
Big movement, strong foundations, confident kids.
The preschool years are an incredible time to introduce kids to movement and gymnastics. As they climb, roll, jump, balance, and explore, they’re building the foundation for how they move, learn, solve problems, and approach new challenges.
At Base Camp, our preschool program is thoughtfully designed around early childhood development. Through age-appropriate gymnastics progressions, imaginative games, obstacle courses, and purposeful play, children build strength, coordination, balance, body awareness, motor skills, and confidence.
Our friendly, highly trained coaches create a warm and encouraging environment where children can explore, try new things, celebrate their successes, and have a whole lot of fun along the way.
Our goal is to build important athletic foundations, promote school-readiness, and make kids excited to come back each week.
A Typical Class: Big Movement, Big Confidence, Big Smiles
Every 45-minute class follows a familiar rhythm that keeps young gymnasts moving, learning, and having fun.
Welcome Song → Dynamic Warm-Up → Gymnastics Circuit #1 → Gymnastics Circuit #2 → Stamp + Goodbye Song
Along the way, children explore floor, bars, beam, vault, and Tumbl Trak while building gymnastics fundamentals, strength, coordination, balance, body awareness, and motor planning.
Imaginative themes, games, and encouragement are woven throughout class, creating an experience that feels like play while purposeful learning is happening underneath.

Tiny Travelers: 16 months-3 years
Exploring movement together.
For our littlest friends and their grown up!
An adult accompanies each child in the gym as they explore movement together in a structured, supportive environment.
Each class begins with a dynamic warm-up, followed by two gymnastics circuits using the air track, floor, bars, balance beams, and vault.
Tiny Travelers are introduced to foundational movements like rolling, weight transfer from feet to hands, jumping, climbing, and balancing, all while developing gross and fine motor skills through fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate stations.
Parents and caregivers love Tiny Travelers not only for the fun, engaging classes, but for the sense of connection it creates. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to meet other families. Many of those first introductions turn into lasting friendships, future classmates, and sports teammates.

Little Explorers: Ages 3 & 4
Building independence and confidence.
Each class begins with a dynamic warmup, and includes two gymnastics circuits utilizing the Tumbl Track, floor, bars, balance beams and vaulting apparatus. Our Little Explorers learn fundamental gymnastics movements like rolling, introductory cartwheels & handstands, jumping, climbing, supporting and balancing.
Our structured curriculum builds in other gross and fine motor skill practice into fun, safe and developmentally-appropriate stations.
In addition to movement, Little Explorers practice school-readiness skills like watching and listening to their teacher, taking turns, walking in line, and socializing kindly and fairly with their friends.
Adventurers: Ages 4 & 5
Preparing for the next climb.
Designed as the bridge into our school-age program, Adventurers build on foundational skills while beginning to take on more advanced challenges. Each Adventurers class begins with a dynamic warmup, and includes two gymnastics circuits utilizing the Tumbl Track, floor, bars, balance beams and vaulting apparatus.
Using the same familiar circuit-style class structure, as our other preschool classes, Adventurers are introduced to “big kid” skills on appropriately sized equipment—helping them develop confidence, independence, and readiness for the next level.
