Enrollment Information & Policies

Everything you need to know about joining Base Camp Gymnastics, tuition, make-ups, payments, and getting ready for class.

School Year Classes

Start Anytime!

There’s no need to wait for a new month or session to get started at Base Camp. Families may enroll in our School Year Classes at any time, as long as space is available.

If you join a class partway through the month, your first month’s tuition will be prorated based on the remaining classes that month. After that, you’ll move to our regular flat monthly tuition.

School Year Enrollment

Our School Year class season runs from mid-August through May.

Once enrolled, your child’s spot is reserved in their class for the remainder of the School Year unless you choose to cancel. Tuition is billed monthly, and enrollment automatically ends at the conclusion of the School Year in May.

Families may cancel their School Year enrollment at any time by following our cancellation policy below.

Annual Registration Fee

A $40 non-refundable annual registration fee per student is charged at enrollment and automatically renews on each student’s enrollment anniversary.

Registration fees are capped at $80 per family annually. Registration fees are waived for any additional children beyond the first two enrolled in the family.

School Year Tuition

School Year tuition is a flat monthly fee and remains consistent regardless of whether three, four, or five regularly scheduled classes fall within a given month.

Your tuition reserves your child’s spot in class and reflects enrollment in our ongoing School Year program rather than the purchase of a specific number of individual classes.

If fewer than four classes are held in a month due to the Base Camp calendar or a scheduled closure, a make-up token will be added to your account. Make-up tokens expire 30 days from the date issued.

Tuition is not prorated for absences, and monetary credits or refunds are not provided for missed classes or scheduled closures.

New students joining mid-month are the exception: your first month’s tuition will be prorated based on the remaining classes in that month.

Automatic Payments

Credit and debit cards are the only forms of payment accepted. All families are required to maintain a valid card on file in their parent portal account.

Tuition is automatically charged on the 25th of the month for the following month.

For example, March tuition will be charged on February 25.

Late Payments

If an automatic payment is declined, we’ll notify you and ask that your payment method be updated within 48 hours.

A $25 late fee will be applied to accounts that are not brought current within this timeframe. Accounts with outstanding balances may result in removal from class until payment is received.

Missed Classes & Make-Ups

We know life happens! As a courtesy, Base Camp offers one make-up class per student, per month for missed recreational classes.

Make-up classes are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. They may only be scheduled after the original class has been missed and must be scheduled one at a time.

Once a student is marked absent, a make-up token will automatically be added to the account. Make-up tokens expire 30 days from the date issued or when enrollment ends, whichever comes first.

If you need to cancel a scheduled make-up class, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice so the token can be returned to your account. Missed make-up classes without notice will be forfeited.

Tuition is not prorated, credited, or refunded for missed classes.

Sibling Discount

Full tuition is charged for the first child. Additional children receive 10% off their tuition.

The discount is applied to the child enrolled in the class with the equal or lower tuition rate.

Cancelling School Year Enrollment

Need to take a break? School Year enrollment may be canceled before the end of the season by emailing info@basecampgymnastics.com by the 15th of the month prior.

For example, to cancel for April, your request must be received by March 15.

Cancellation requests received after the 15th will take effect the following billing cycle, and refunds will not be issued for tuition already charged.

School Year enrollment automatically ends at the conclusion of the season in May. You do not need to submit a cancellation for the summer.

Inclement Weather

Colorado weather can change quickly! Base Camp considers Jeffco Public Schools and local government guidance when making weather-related closure decisions, but we will always make the final decision based on what we believe is safest for our families and team members.

If conditions are unsafe for travel, we may cancel classes or close early. Closures will be communicated via email, text, and social media.

If Base Camp cancels a class because of weather, a make-up token will be added to your account. Monetary credits and refunds are not provided for weather-related closures.

Getting Ready for Class

What to Wear

Come ready to move! Athletes should wear a leotard or fitted athletic clothing that allows for safe movement, stretching, and tumbling.

All athletes participate barefoot. Shoes, socks, tights, dresses, and skirts are not permitted during class.

For safety, jewelry should not be worn. If stud earrings must remain in, please keep in mind that they can still pose a risk if bumped or snagged during activity.

Hair should be pulled back and secured away from the face for the entire class. Please avoid headbands, bows, beads, and other accessories that may become uncomfortable or get in the way during movement.

Food & Water

Water is the only beverage permitted inside the gym. Athletes are encouraged to bring a water bottle, and a water bottle filling station is available in our lobby.

For safety, cleanliness, and to protect our equipment, food, gum, candy, and other beverages must remain in the lobby area.

Watching Class

We love having families be part of the Base Camp experience!

Spectators are welcome to watch from our Base Camp Lounge. To help create a focused environment for all athletes, we ask that spectators remain a discreet presence and avoid coaching or communicating with their child during class.

Only registered participants under the supervision of a Base Camp instructor are permitted in the gym area during scheduled classes.

If you need your child during class, please see a member of our team and we’ll be happy to assist you.

All children in the viewing area must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Students may not be dropped off early. A responsible adult must remain with the child until their scheduled class begins and their instructor has taken over supervision.

For children ages 5 and younger, we strongly recommend that a parent or guardian remain in the facility throughout class.

Please pick up your child promptly when class ends. For safety, children must be picked up inside the facility—adults may not wait outside for pick-up.

Restrooms & Potty Training

To help keep our gym clean and safe, children who are not fully potty trained must wear a diaper or pull-up during class.

We encourage all athletes to use the restroom before class begins to minimize disruptions.

Base Camp staff cannot assist students in the restroom. For children ages 5 and younger, a parent or guardian must remain available if restroom assistance is needed.

Summer Classes

Summer Classes operate separately from our School Year program.

Our Summer Class session runs for approximately 8 weeks from mid-June through mid-August.

Join Anytime

Families do not need to wait for the beginning of the Summer session to enroll. If space is available, your child can join at any point during the session.

Families enrolling after the Summer session has begun will pay for the remaining portion of the session.

Summer Enrollment

Summer enrollment is a commitment through the remainder of the 8-week Summer session.

Summer Classes do not follow our School Year monthly enrollment and billing structure. Specific Summer tuition, payment information, class dates, and registration details will be provided when Summer enrollment opens.

Summer enrollment ends automatically at the conclusion of the Summer session.
